THE BOX: standard specs

We believe that the way cabinets are built and the selection of hardware, is the foundation of a well built kitchen. If you don’t have a good foundation, things will fall apart. BOX KITCHEN uses all the best hardware that you find with a custom kitchen, as well as sturdy box construction.

Standard specs for all our BOX KITCHENS are:

• BLUM euro style invisible door hinges

• 120 degree opening, where possible

• BLUM full extension, bottom mounted drawer glides

• Soft closure on all doors and drawers

• Solid maple dovetail construction on all drawers

• Solid maple drawer inserts

• 3/4” maple plywood construction for all boxes

• 3/4” substrate for all doors, drawers, and side panels

• 3/4” back to all boxes

• stainless door/drawer pulls

Cabinet Sizes:

Uppers: all 12 7/8” deep

16”, 18” square modules (2 bay minimum)

20”, 24” square modules - can be ordered as single unit. You can mount horizontal or vertical.

Vertical boxes can be ordered in 30” x 36” square with 2 doors @.

Lowers:

Depth: 24”, 18”, 12”

Widths: 12” 15” 18” 21” 24” 27” 30” 32” 36”, 40”

NOTE: Combining boxes back to back creates different size islands and peninsulas--be creative. Upper modules are available as horizontal or vertical units and have a 2 bay minimum size allowance.
